A 16 year-old Pickering driver refused to stop for police Saturday night and now faces a slew of charges, including Flight from Police.

He also rolled the ‘borrowed’ Honda CRV he was driving – causing extensive damage – but escaped without injury.

Durham Police say they attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver took off at a high rate of speed before rolling the car over in a residential street.

The 16 year-old is charged with Flight from Police, Dangerous Operation, Take Motor Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent, Drive While Under Suspension and Fail/Refuse to Stop.
