Teen stabbed during fight in Burlington

A teenager was stabbed and taken to hospital following a dispute with another youth in Burlington.
Reports say an argument broke out at Burlington Beach just after 10:30 p.m. on May 10.
Police say the dispute escalated to the point where the pair started fighting. Eventually one of the young males pulled out a knife and stabbed the other.
The injured youth was taken to hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries.
Subsequently, a 17-year-old was later arrested near the scene.
He has since been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
