Teen sexually assaulted on Ajax trail

Police are looking for a lone suspect after a 14 year-old girl was sexually assaulted on a trail in Ajax Tuesday evening.
The assault happened between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. as the victim was walking on a trail in the area of Harwood Avenue and Clements Road East. Police say she was “violently attacked, assaulted and sexually assaulted” by the unknown suspect.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone who was in the area of the walking trail at that time.
The suspect is described as male, Black, dark complexion, in his 20s, approximately 5’6″, heavy build and wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
