Teen seriously injured during overnight shooting in Mississauga

A teenager has been hospitalized after a shooting today (August 2) in Mississauga.

Police were called at 2:43 a.m. for the shooting, which happened at 7170 Darcel Avenue in Malton.

The victim was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.

Reports indicate the victim is a 17 year old male.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a dark sedan. There is no further suspect description at this time.

Police are asking anyone with information or video footage to contact them.
