Update: Mississauga teen reported missing has been found

A 15-year-old boy was reported missing in Mississauga.

Andrey Smakotin, 15, was reported missing from the Glen Erin Drive and Windwood Drive area in Mississauga, Peel Regional Police said. He was last seen at 3:40 p.m. on Aug. 14 and there is concern for his well being.

But around 10 p.m. on Aug. 15 police said Smakotin was found.

“The ongoing efforts to locate the missing teen were successful,” police said.

They thanked the public for their assistance.
