Teen pedestrian from Brampton rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition following crash

Police are looking for witnesses to a crash that sent a teenage pedestrian from Brampton to hospital with life-threatening injuries on the weekend.
York Regional Police say officers were called to the area of Yonge Street and Henderson Drive in the Town of Aurora around 1 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 16) for reports of a collision.
When police arrived on the scene they found a 19-year-old pedestrian from Brampton had been struck by the driver of a white Toyota Venza.
The teenage victim was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, and police say the 50-year-old female driver of the Toyota did not suffer any physical injuries and remained at the scene.
No charges have been laid but investigators are looking to speak with any witnesses who have not yet contacted police or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the collision.
