An 18-year-old on a fishing trip ended up getting caught himself and is facing a list of charges after allegedly fleeing from cops in Caledon.
In a post on Twitter, the Caledon OPP says police attempted to pull over the driver of a silver sedan over the long weekend. But police say the driver attempted to flee from the officer.
The vehicle was stopped and police say the 18-year-old driver has been charged with:
- Dangerous Driving
- Flight from Police
- Stunt Driving
A photo shared by the OPP shows a silver four-door car loaded onto the bed of a tow truck. And while the teen may have been looking forward to catching the big one, police say he “got only himself hooked” in the incident.
Police have not disclosed the name of the accused.
