Teen girls missing over a week last seen at Brampton mall

Police are looking to speak with anyone who might have information about a pair of teen girls missing over a week from a Brampton mall.

The Waterloo Police Service says Aleena, 15, from Kitchener and Sophia, 17, from Waterloo, were last seen back on March 29 at the Bramalea City Centre in Brampton.

Few details about the girls’ disappearance have been released but investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Aleena is described as a 15-year-old standing around five-foot-sic-inches tall with an athletic build and long curly brown hair.

Sophia is described as a 17-year-old standing around five-foot-four-inches tall with a slim build and long dark hair.

Anyone with information on the girls’ whereabouts is asked to contact Waterloo Regional Police by calling 519-570-9777 ext. 8191. Anonymous tips may also be provided to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 or visiting www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
