Teen driver from Milton flips vehicle in Halton Hills, facing several charges

A Milton teenager is facing several charges, including stunt driving, after flipping the vehicle he was driving near 22 Side Road and Fourth Line in Halton Hills yesterday.

Halton police first observed a vehicle with an unregistered plate in the area of Third Line and 10 Side Rd. in Milton yesterday around 11 a.m.

While police attempted to locate the vehicle, they observed the driver driving away at high speeds, and passing vehicles on the gravel shoulder.

Officers followed at a distance and observed the vehicle continue to drive at high speeds through an area with construction and commuter vehicles.

The vehicle was then located by officers in the area of 22 Side Road and Fourth Line as it had ran off the road and flipped over. There were no injuries reported.

The 18 year old driver from Milton was was arrested at the scene and charged with dangerous driving and several Highway Traffic Act offences including stunt driving, drive under suspension, drive motor vehicle fail to display two plates, drive motor vehicle no permit and used plate not authorized for vehicle.

He was released on an Undertaking.
