Fatal collision involving teen results in highway closures in southern Ontario

A fatal collision has resulted in highway closures in southern Ontario.

Yesterday (June 6), OPP officers were dispatched to a collision on Highway 6 near 5th line just outside the community of Caledonia.

A 17-year-old male from Caledonia was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the driver of the second vehicle was airlifted to a trauma center with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Highway 6 between 4th Line and 5th Line is currently closed for investigation, and police are asking anyone with information or potential dashcam footage of the collision to contact them directly.
