Police have made a second arrest following a fatal triple shooting in Mississauga.

At 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, officers responded after three people were shot at Hull Street and Airport Road near Toronto Pearson Airport.

One victim, a 21 year old Brampton man, was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The two other victims were treated for serious injuries and have since been released.

On Thursday, Oct. 28, police arrested a second suspect in this incident: A 16 year old male from Brampton who has been charged with First Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, and numerous firearm-related offences.

He was held for a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton that same day.

The male’s identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The first person arrested in this incident was 18 year old Jastaran Sandhu from Mississauga, charged with First Degree Murder.

According to police, the triple shooting was the last of multiple incidents that had occurred earlier that day between two groups of men. Police believe 18 to 20 males were involved and fled the scene of the shooting.
