Teen arrested after stabbing in Bowmanville on the weekend

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after a stabbing at a residence in Bowmanville.

Emergency crews responded to the stabbing at a home in the area of Kenneth Cole Drive and Bruce Cameron Drive on Saturday, Nov. 26 around 9:26 a.m., Durham Regional Police said in a press release.

Police found a male victim with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre and remains in stable condition.

The 16-year-old teen was arrested and now faces charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. He was held for a bail hearing.
