Canada’s largest military show is rolling into Oshawa tomorrow for Aquino Tank Weekend at the south end of the Oshawa Airport.

Originally scheduled for June, the eighth annual tank show – hosted by the Ontario Regiment Museum and presented by World of Tanks – now takes place this weekend.

Premium and weekend pass holders will get a sneak peek at the event Friday, with the show going full speed Saturday and Sunday with battle re-enactments, tank and armoured vehicle demonstrations, tank and military vehicle rides, simulated tank battles, a special speaker series and displays, and much more.

With more than 80 military vehicles in the museum’s collection, as well as artifacts, medals, weapons and uniforms covering more than 150 years of military history from the 1866 Fenian Raids to modern conflicts, the show is living history for the whole family.

There is also a kid’s zone with ride-on battle tanks and access to a militaria market and on-sire food vendors, as well as the fully licensed 420 Wing.

Weekend passes sell for $60 (adults), $30 (children and veterans) and $10 (cadets in groups of ten or more). Day passes are $35 for adults, $20 for veterans and $15 for cadets and kids.
