We can never get enough fried chicken, especially when it’s from other cultures!

Monga Fried Chicken will be celebrating its grand opening on Sunday, August 8 at 561 Curran Place, near Burnhamthorpe and Confederation Pkwy in City Centre.

The restaurant specializes in Taiwanese-style fried chicken, one of the most popular street foods in Taiwan. They say their fresh chicken fillets are marinated with honey, dipped in batter instead of dry flours, and fried for a juicy and tender flavour.

The menu features their signature fried chicken, crispy chicken, wings, tenders, nuggets, popcorn chicken, baogers (think a burger but on a Taiwanese steamed bun), fries and other snacks, fresh juice and bubble tea.

To celebrate their grand opening, the restaurant will be giving away 100 free pieces of their signature fried chicken to the first customers in line when the restaurant opens at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Aside from the new Mississauga location, Monga also operates in downtown Toronto, North York, and Richmond, BC.
