Suspects sought after shots fired in housing complex in Ajax

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) is appealing to residents who may have any information or witnessed an incident that involved numerous shots being fired inside a housing complex in Ajax late Friday afternoon, where the suspects fled the scene in multiple vehicles.
On June 2 at approximately 4:15 p.m., police responded to the area of Lankester Lne /Moss Lne in Ajax for reports of shots fired.
Police say upon arrival at the scene they located numerous shell casings and fortunately, no victims were located.
Investigators are looking to speak with the occupants of multiple dark-coloured vehicles that were seen fleeing the area following the incident.
Anyone who witnessed the event or has dash cam, home surveillance or cellphone camera footage is asked to contact Det. Smith of the West Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2528.
