Suspects of Oshawa Centre jewelry store robbery remain at large

The four men who robbed an Oshawa Centre jewelry store in broad daylight last night remain at large. Durham Regional police have called on the public in the hope identifying them.

The quartet entered the mall’s Bellagio Jewelry Store, located just to the left of Entrance Two by the McDonald’s and Tim Hortons, around 6:30 p.m. July 20.

The men, wielding hammers and a handgun, smashed glass display cases to steal an unspecified amount of jewelry. They fled the mall in a dark four-door sedan.

No employees were physically harmed in the robbery.

Police describe the men as follows;

  • The first was white, wearing a black toque, a black jacket, grey joggers and a backpack
  • The second was Black, wearing a black toque, a hooded sweater, black pants, black shoes and a mask.
  • The third is Black, wearing sunglasses, a green hooded sweater, blue pants and black shoes. He was carrying a gym bag.
  • The fourth is Black, wearing a blue jacket, black pants, black shoes, black pants and a mask.
