VIDEO: Suspect’s identity in violent Brampton sexual assaults sought

Peel Regional Police continue to seek the public’s assistance in identifying a male alleged to be involved in two sexual assaults last month in Brampton.
The incidents occurred in the area of McLaughlin Road and Steeles Avenue on Monday, September 2, 2024, at approximately 5:30 a.m. and Sunday, September 22, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m.
Peel police say the perpetrator is described as a South Asian man in his late 20s to early 30s. He is approximately 5-foot-9 with a medium build and dark short hair with a receding hairline.
On Monday (Oct. 28), police released a video in Punjabi to appeal to the public. Investigators from the Special Victims Unit released an earlier video of the alleged suspect.

Police ask anyone with information, more video surveillance, or dashcam footage who may have been in the area during the morning hours of September 2 and 22 to contact them at 905-453-2121, extension 3460.
