Suspects flee following armed bank robbery in Mississauga

Police are on the hunt for the suspects involved in an alleged armed bank robbery in Mississauga.

On Sunday (Oct. 22) Peel Regional Police responded to the area of Dixie Road and Burnhamthorpe Road.

According to investigators, a weapon was seen and an unknown amount of money was taken from the financial institution.

Shortly after the suspects fled the scene, police say.

There were no injuries reported, as a result of the incident.

Details remain scarce regarding the number of suspects involved and surveillance images are unavailable at this time.
