Suspected human remains found at East Hamilton park: Police

Hamilton Police say they were called to an East Hamilton park on Tuesday (Oct.6) afternoon suspected human remains were uncovered.

Police said Tuesday they were deployed to Windermere Basin Park at 105 Eastport Dr.
Due to found suspected human remains, police said, the office of the Coroner was contacted and has now taken carriage of the investigation.
As a result, the park will remain closed for an undetermined period of time as the investigation continues.
Police say that approximately one year ago they investigated a similar incident at the same location and they are reviewing both incidents to determine if they are connected.
