Hamilton man wanted in connection with Burlington shooting found dead

Police say a suspect who was wanted in connection with an alleged attempted murder in Burlington has been found deceased.
Halton police say 37-year-old Hamilton man David Lavoie was found dead on the evening of Monday, Sept. 19 in Burlington.
He was considered a suspect in a shooting that took place at a residence in the Maple Crossing Boulevard area earlier this month. Police say Lavoie and the victim of the shooting were known to each other.
Police say Lavoie’s death is not considered suspicious.
