Suspect wanted for commercial break-and-enters in Pickering

Durham Police want to identify a suspect after a string of break and enters at several businesses in Pickering last week.

West Division officers were dispatched to a commercial alarm at a business near Bayly Street and Liverpool Road last Wednesday at 3 a.m. The investigation revealed a suspect had used a ‘projectile’ break the glass and enter the business. The cash register was reported stolen.

Further investigation revealed four other businesses located on Bayly Street between Whites Road and Brock Road were also broken into in the same manner.

Video surveillance captured images of the suspect. He is described as male, White, 30-40 years old, slim build with short brown hair. He was wearing a light blue surgical mask, dark blue or black polo shirt with button collar, blue jeans and black shoes.
