Peel Police are investigating after a man entered a store in the Tenth Line West and Forrest Park Drive area in Mississauga today and pulled a knife on an employee.

The store is likely in the plaza on Derry Road, the same plaza where a garbage work was transported to hospital this morning after getting his finger stuck in a compactor.

The knife incident happened just before 12:30 this afternoon and it is unknown if any money or items were taken. The suspect fled on foot.

He is described as a 5’5” white man, about 30 years of age, with brown hair. He was wearing a brown or gray shirt, gray pants and a blue surgical mask.

The investigation is ongoing.
