Suspect still wanted after April counterfeit cash crime at Whitby Old Navy

Police in Durham Region are asking the public’s help in finding a man wanted for fraud at an Old Navy location in Whitby in April.

Durham Police say the suspect entered the Old Navy on Taunton Road East in Whitby on Monday, April 13 at approximately 4 p.m. and purchased several items using counterfeit currency.

He is described as white, 20-30 years-old with a medium build and dark moustache and goatee. He was wearing a black jacket, dark pants, and red/white sneakers.

Anyone with cellphone, dash cam, surveillance footage, or any information about this incident is asked to contact D/Cst. Kane of the Financial Crimes Unit at 1-888-579-1520 x 5371.
