Suspect sought after man stabbed multiple times in Mississauga

Police are appealing to the public for help identifying the suspect of a recent stabbing in Mississauga.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 20, police say a 48-year-old man and the suspect were in the area of Derry Road East and Torbram Road when an altercation began.

“It is alleged that the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times, causing life-threatening injuries,” said police. “The victim is now considered to be in non-life threatening condition.”

The suspect is described as a black man in his early 20s, 5’6, with a slim build. He was reportedly wearing black pants, a white shirt, a grey jacket with writing on the back, and black and white sneakers.
