Suspect sought after 19-year-old woman critically injured in Oshawa stabbing

The Durham Regional Police Central East Division is at 77 Centre St. N. in Oshawa.

A suspect remains at large after a woman was left with critical injuries in an Oshawa stabbing.

The victim, 19, was at a bar on Park Rd. and Malaga Rd. in the city’s south end on December 4. The area is home to the GM assembly plant. Across the road from the plant sits the Fox and Goose sports bar.

Around 2:30 a.m. Durham Regional Police got a call about an armed man near the bar. On arrival, officers found the victim with life-threatening injuries. The victim was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre, where she remains in critical condition.

By the time police arrived the suspects had fled the scene in a black pick-up truck.
