Suspect remains at large after senior robbed in Oshawa

The man who robbed a senior in Oshawa remains at large as police try to identify him.

On September 8 around 2 p.m. an elderly woman was walking along a path near William St and Division St, by the Costco plaza.

A man rolled up behind her on a bicycle, pushed her to the ground and stole her purse. He then rode away on the bicycle. Durham Regional Police responded by 2:15 p.m. and searched they area. However, they spotted no sign on him.

On September 20, police released a security camera image of a man they believe may be involved. They describe the suspect as a white man with a slim build. He was wearing a red baseball cap, back pants and did not have a shirt on.
