A suspect who may be armed is on the loose following a convenience store robbery in Mississauga late Monday.
“Both tactical and canine units attended the scene,” said Peel police Const. Rachel Gibbs.
“He wasn’t located.”
Officers were dispatched to McLaughlin and Bristol roads for a commercial robbery at 11:05 p.m. on July 17.
That’s where a man walked into a store claiming to have a gun in his pocket.
The suspect demanded cash and the employee compiled.
The man fled on foot.
No injuries were reported.
Anyone with information is asked to phone the central robbery unit at (905) 453-2121 ext. 3410 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
