Suspect in east Hamilton convenience store robbery sought: Police

Hamilton Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect wanted in connection to a convenience store robbery earlier this month.

In a press release issued Wednesday (Oct. 20), Hamilton Police released an image from security camera footage showing the suspect’s face.

According to police, the man entered an east Hamilton variety store around 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021.

It is alleged that the man forced his way behind the store’s counter where he obtained some store merchandise.

The suspect then fled the area on foot and was last seen in the area of Main Street East and Tragina Avenue North, police said.

No one was physically injured during the incident.
