Suspect Commits Robbery with Firearm in Mississauga

Police are warning citizens to avoid the area of an armed robbery in Mississauga.

The report came around 6:45 p.m. of a robbery in the area of Hurontario Street and Sherobee Road.

The suspect is described as a white male, 260 lbs, wearing a green hoodie. He was seen with a firearm at the time of the crime, although no injuries have been reported.

Police later added that they recovered the weapon at the scene.

Citizens are asked to avoid the area if possible. We’ll update with any further info.
