An unidentified suspect remains at large following the second stabbing in downtown Oshawa this week.

Durham Regional Police say a man, 23, walked into a home on Albert St. suffering from multiple stab wounds around 10 a.m. on Feb 1.

When first responders arrived they found the victim was suffering serious but not life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to a Toronto hospital for treatment.

Investigators say there is “very limited” information regarding the attack at the moment and they have no suspect description to provide.

As such they are calling on any witnesses to come forward.

This is the second stabbing in downtown Oshawa in as many days. At around 6 a.m. on Jan 31, a man was stabbed at an apartment on Simcoe St. and Bagot St.

Albert St. is two blocks east of Simcoe St. and runs south from King St. to Bloor St. Police did not specify where along this road the victim appeared.

Anyone with information about the stabbing can call Cst. Ellis of Central East Division at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 3905, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
