A man Peel Police had been searching for in Brampton since early Saturday (February 20) afternoon is now in custody.
The 29-year-old was arrested for allegedly stabbing his mother inside their Newbury Cres. home.
Police and emergency crews were called to the home just after 1 p.m. after reports of yelling coming from the residence.
A woman was found at the scene with a stab wound. She is now listed in stable condition at the hospital.
Police later issued a bulletin for her son, Prateek Mann, who they say was wanted for attempted murder.
Late Saturday night police say the man was found and arrested, but would not comment if charges would be laid.
