Sunny vacation coming for $100K grand prize lottery winner in Bolton

A lottery winner from Bolton says he couldn’t stop shaking after winning a $100,000 lottery grand prize.

Jaime P. is a retiree from Bolton who says he often plays OLG Bingo and Crossword games, adding that he likes to take his time when playing the games. But Jamie couldn’t believe his luck after winning a $100,000 grand prize playing Instant Bingo Doubler.

“When I noticed I won, I had to check my ticket three times — I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. My hands started shaking like crazy,” he said while picking up his winnings at the OLD prize centre in Toronto.

The 66-year-old winner has kept the win mostly to himself, telling only his brother and sister so far.

“It feels good to win,” he said, adding that he plans to spend some of the money on a trip to Orlando for Christmas.

Instant Bingo Doubler is available for $5 a play and the top prize is $100,000. The OLG says it supports safe play and responsible gambling through its PlaySmart program.

The winning ticket was purchased at Family Variety on Queen Street South in Bolton.
