Several changes are coming to Brampton Transit routes this summer, including new timings, service adjustments and cancelled school routes.
Brampton Transit frequently adjusts service and timings to keep people and buses moving across the city, and later this month will see changes to multiple routes.
Here are all the Brampton Transit changes coming on June 23.
501 Züm Queen
- Weekday service frequency adjusted to 7.5 minutes for a.m. peak eastbound and p.m. peak westbound.
511 Züm Steeles
- Weekday service frequency adjusted to 22 minutes a.m peak 511C Züm Steeles.
- Weekday service frequency adjusted to 22 minutes p.m. peak 511C Züm Steeles.
- Early AM Amazon trip adjusted to 4:40 a.m.
14 Torbram, 26 Mount Pleasant and 30 Airport Rd.
- Weekday schedules adjusted to improve service reliability.
200 Secondary School Specials & School Extras
- Routes 200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216 and 217 are cancelled. Routes to resume service on Sept. 2.
- Afternoon School Extras on routes 4A Chinguacousy, 7A Kennedy, 29 Williams and 32 Father Tobin are cancelled for the summer.
Summer School Extra Service
- Summer school extra service has been added to routes 36 Gardenbrooke, 50 Gore Road and 52 McMurchy to accommodate summer school students attending Castlebrooke Secondary School, Brampton Centennial Secondary School and Cardinal Ambrozic Catholic Secondary School.
