OPP recover $15,000 in stolen goods, arrest two Mississauga residents

A person has died after falling from a QEW overpass in St. Catharines.

The female victim was hit by multiple vehicles after falling on the QEW at Glendale Avenue and pronounced dead at the scene around 10:30 p.m. last night (Sept. 20), OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said.

Schmidt didn’t say the age of the person or where she is from.

None of the vehicles who struck the victim stayed at the scene or spoke with investigators, Schmidt added.

The OPP is asking anyone who thinks they may have hit the person or were in the area around that time to contact the Burlington OPP.

Anyone with dashcam video of the incident should also contact police.
