Stunting and speeding charges for driver going nearly double the speed limit in a 60 km/h zone: police

Police have suspended a driver after they were allegedly clocked at nearly double the speed limit in a 60 km/h zone.
Peel Regional Police said on Twitter on Wednesday that officers had pulled over a vehicle at Mayfield Road and Kennedy Road in Brampton.
Police say the 20-year-old male driver was travelling at 112 km/h in the 60 km/h zone.
The 20-year-old man was charged with speeding and stunting offences, and police suspended his licence for 30 days and impounded the vehicle for 14 days.
