Stunt driving near London leads to charge against Mississauga resident

A 30-year-old Mississauga resident has been charged with stunt driving after cops near London pulled over a car this past Saturday morning (April 22) that was travelling at double the posted speed limit on a regional road.
Middlesex County OPP say officers were on regular patrol when they spotted a car moving at about 120 km/h on a posted 60 km/h section of Highbury Ave. in Middlesex Centre, just northwest of London.
The vehicle was pulled over at about 9 a.m.
A Mississauga resident was subsequently charged with performing a stunt while driving and excessive speed.
Police didn’t name the person charged, nor did they specify if they are male or female.
No court date has yet been set.
