Stunt driving charges for woman in Uxbridge

A 55 year-old Uxbridge woman is facing stunt driving charges after police clocked her doing 128 km/hr in a 60 km zone near Coppins Corners in Uxbridge Township last week.

Durham Police stopped the vehicle last Wednesday, with the arresting officer noting the woman was driving in a “careless manner.”

She was charged with Stunt Driving, Careless Driving and Driving Under Suspension. Her vehicle was impounded for 14 days, and her license was suspended for seven days.
