Streets are closed for country music festival in Mississauga

A major celebration of all things country is happening this weekend in Mississauga with Port Credit’s #CountryINThePort event.

On May 24 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., participating Port Credit businesses will be offering delicious country-themed menu items, live country music, and line dancing lessons.

The pedestrian-friendly street party continues on May 25 from 2 to 6 p.m., when they’ll closing off Elizabeth Street South from Lakeshore to Port Street for a real hoedown that includes live country music performances, pony rides, a petting zoo, a mechanical bull ride, games, and even more fun.

The event culminates Saturday night at Cabin (504 Lakeshore Rd E), where the music and country fun will continue.
