The “Convoy for Freedom” is expected to stop in Oakville and Mississauga this weekend.

According to a flyer circulating on social media and Reddit, protesters are planning to meet up in several locations throughout the GTA on Saturday, including a Tim Hortons in Oakville at 10 a.m.

In what’s being called the “Convoy for Freedom Toronto,”  the protesters will also head out from malls in the area such as Vaughan Mills, Scarborough Town Centre, Yorkdale Mall, Square One in Mississauga and Sherway Gardens before rolling out at 11 a.m. to join the rest of the rally at Queens Park.

The Freedom Convoy has been protesting mandatory vaccine requirements and other COVID-19 public health measures implemented across Canada since Jan. 29 in Ottawa.

They vow to remain in the area until all restrictions have been lifted.
