A swath of unauthorized sexual-enhancement pills containing dangerous ingredients has health officials warning residents in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and across Ontario and Canada about the products.

Health Canada issued the warning on Monday saying over 15 brands of unauthorized over-the-counter health products promoting sexual enhancement have been found to contain prescription drugs and may also contain ingredients not listed on the label.

The unauthorized products include:

  • 3800 Hard Rock
  • 7K and 7K Max Power
  • Black Panther
  • Rhino 7 Platinum 5000
  • Rhino 69
  • Rhino 69 (Triple)
  • Rhino 70000
  • VIP GO Rhino 69K
  • Arize
  • Blue Rhino Super Long Lasting Extreme 1000K
  • Gold Lion Honey
  • Oh Baby! Platinum
  • Pink Pussycat

Health Canada says many of the products contained sildenafil and tadalafil, which are prescription drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction but can cause potentially life-threatening low blood pressure.

Other pills contained yohimbine – a prescription drug that Health Canada says can result in serious reactions, particularly in people with high blood pressure, or heart, kidney or liver disease. And one of the products, Pink Pussycat, was found to contain hydroxythiohomosildenafil – an unauthorized substance that is similar to sildenafil and may pose similar health risks.

The affected products were found for sale in Toronto and Quebec, but Health Canada has issued a Canada-wide warning. Health Canada says to stop using the products and consult a healthcare professional if you have health concerns. Anyone who sees these products for sale can report them to Health Canada by visiting
