Stoney Creek man charged with a half-dozen firearms offences

A Stoney Creek man who was a passenger in a car involved in a crash now facing six criminal courts, in relation to allegedly having firearms that he was prohibited from possessing.
The two-car collision happened on Canborough Road in Dunnville, Haldimand County, late on Wednesday afternoon (May 11). At 4:01 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment, Haldimand County Fire Services and Haldimand County Emergency Servicesresponded to a collision.
As a result of the investigation, a passenger in the one vehicle, 32-year-old Dario Dilber, was charged with:
Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order (six counts)
The accused is scheduled to appear in a Cayuga court at a later date to answer to the charges.
The driver and passenger of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries. They were treated at a local hospital.
