Police have charged two people from Toronto and Brampton after a stolen vehicle was recovered in Caledon.
The arrests happened on Dec. 27 around 1 p.m. after the OPP says officers were called to a business near King Street and Airport Road in Caledon.
Two suspects had already fled the scene on foot before police arrived, and officers set up a perimeter.
The suspects were located nearby and arrested, and police say a stolen vehicle was found at the scene.
The OPP says Kuldeep Singh Bhangu, 27, of Brampton, has been charged with fail to comply with probation order, drive while prohibited, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, two counts of possession of schedule 1 controlled substance, and assault with a weapon.
Onkar Kalia, 36, of Toronto, has been charged with possession of break-in instruments and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Both of the accused we held for bail hearings, police said.
