Stolen trucks from Hamilton and Milton recovered in Brampton, four from Montreal arrested

Pick-up trucks stolen this week in Milton and Hamilton have been found stored at apartment buildings in Brampton.

Four people from Montreal have since been arrested and charged by the Halton Regional Police Auto Theft Task Force.

The thefts took place overnight on March 27 and 28 in Milton when four 2022 Dodge Ram trucks were taken from residences on Aird Crt., Hansen Cres., Clover Park and King St.

On March 28, the Task Force located the four vehicles at two apartment complexes in the area of Dixie Rd. and Queen St. E. in Brampton. Police later found two more trucks that had been reported missing in Hamilton at the same buildings.

During the police investigation, a suspect was spotted driving through Brampton. The vehicle was stopped and the four occupants were placed under arrest.

Four with Montreal addresses now face charges

  • 19-year-old  Jean Gabriel Israel
  • 24-year -old Sara Ragoubi
  • 19-year-old Iria Urizar-Fortin
  • 16-year-old male

They all face numerous charges including several counts of possession of property obtained by crime, trafficking in property obtained by crime, possession of break-in tools and possession of a device to obtain computer information.

All are being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
