Stolen taxi found at Pearson Airport in Mississauga: Police

Police say an idling taxi stolen in Fergus was found at Pearson International Airport in Mississauga.

Wellington County OPP say that at approximately 5:00 am on March 6, officers were told informed a vehicle was stolen from St. Andrew St. W. in the Wellington County township. 

Police say they received reports that an unknown person stole a grey sedan taxicab while it idled in front of a business.

The vehicle was recovered at the airport later that day. 

Police are investigating the theft and are asking anyone with information to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
