Stolen Corvette tracked by GPS leads to $180,000 in property recovered in Caledon

Police have charged a pair of 22-year-olds after tracking a stolen Corvette to a residence in Caledon.

The OPP says officers were notified on Friday about a stolen 2024 Chevrolet Corvette that was being monitored by GPS.

Police say the stolen sports car was tracked to a residence on Mclaughlin Road in Caledon where officers found the Corvette along with a 2019 GMC Sierra that what investigators believe was re-vinned.

Two people from Caledon were arrested and charged and police say they recovered $180,000 of stolen property.

Ravinder Singh and Harbhinder Singh, both 22 and from Caledon have been charged with one count each of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

Both of the accused are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on Jan. 11.
