Calling all entrepreneurs and changemakers in Mississauga, Brampton, Halton and the rest of the GTHA! Applications are now open for Sheridan EDGE’s Leap and Rise social entrepreneurship programs, geared towards entrepreneurs and changemakers who want to launch and grow new ventures.

EDGE serves as a launchpad to support founders of early-stage startups, non-profits, and co-ops who are working to make a positive social impact and create a more equitable, sustainable world. The programs are available to anyone, not just Sheridan students.

EDGE provides new and growing impact-focused ventures learning programs, mentorship, co-working space and support to access funding.

  • A bootcamp and intensive learning experience
  • Venture mentorship
  • A series of workshops on important topics including sales and marketing
  • The program will take place virtually this year due to the pandemic

Leap is designed for those who:

  • Have a basic understanding of entrepreneurship and changemaking
  • Have taken steps to develop a specific, impact-focused entrepreneurial idea
  • Are ready to commit a few hours a week to further assess the idea as a career opportunity

  • Co-working space access in Mississauga and Brampton (once reopened)
