Stabbing victim walks into Oshawa police station; four suspects at large

Police are on the hunt for at least four suspects after a man walked into the downtown Oshawa police station Sunday morning with a stab wound.

The 57 year-old victim, who said he was stabbed near Hillside Avenue and Lisbon Court in south-west Oshawa about five hours earlier, was taken to Lakeridge Health Oshawa for treatment and released.

Investigators are still trying to determine what happened and are appealing to the public for assistance. What they did learn from the victim is four people fled the area of the stabbing in a new model Kia crossover/SUV at approximately 4 a.m. on Sunday.

One suspect is described as female, 5’8” with brown shoulder length hair, face piercings and a large number of tattoos including one on her neck. Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time who may have home or dash cam video or any new information to contact D/Cst.
