A man accused in a double stabbing was arrested in Brampton on Thursday.

York Regional Police disclosed that criminal investigators made a third arrest in connection with an attack that occurred in Markham eight weeks ago, on the first Saturday in December. On Dec. 3, around 2 a.m., York Region officers responded to a call for an injured person in the Hwy 7. / Commerce Valley Dr. W. area and found two men who had been stabbed. They learned that two men and a woman were waiting outside the establishment when the two victims exited, and an altercation ensued.

Two suspects, one man and one woman, were arrested and charged the following day. The third, 23-year-old Eriston Sadiku of Vaughan, was “arrested without incident” on Jan. 26 after being located in Brampton.

Sadiku faces two counts apiece of attempt to commit murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

Rachel Ga Yoon Kim, 26, also of Vaughan, and Thomas Mu He, 22, of Toronto, face the same criminal counts.
