Stabbing sends one man to hospital in life-threatening condition in Brampton

One man has been rushed to hospital following a stabbing in Brampton on Friday morning.

Peel Regional Police say an adult male was found wounded around 9 a.m. in the area of Hedgedale Road, which is near the intersection of Steeles Avenue and Tomken Road.

Peel Paramedics Services confirmed that one man was rushed to hospital with serious and non-life threatening injuries, but police said in an update around 1:30 p.m. that the victim was in life-threatening condition.

Sources say the man suffered knife-related wounds and police say it is believed to be an isolated stabbing.

Police have not said if any arrests have been made and no suspect information has been released.
