Following provincial direction, Brock University in St Catharines has decided to shift most of their courses to online-only for the first week (September 7 to 10) of the academic year.

On-campus instruction will now begin on Monday, September 13 except for any courses already designated to be online-only for the Fall Term.

Courses that began prior to September 7, such as the Faculty of Education, will continue on-campus through the first week.

This short-term move to online learning will allow members of the Brock community additional time to respond to the University’s vaccine mandate, such as uploading proof of the vaccination status.

It will also allow academic units additional time to adapt the timetable should this become necessary following the government announcement expected next week.

All other on-campus activities scheduled between Sept. 7 and 10, including Welcome Week activities, will proceed as scheduled. The University will remain open, with all buildings accessible, including research labs.
